I have been feeling terrible for the past year and a half. I have been on every medicine out there (Lyrica, ESI, Prednisone, Gabapentine, Tramidol to name a few). Nothing helped and I felt worse and worse. Last Monday I said "enough".
I was sick of feeling bad and sleeping my life away. So I stopped all meds. I went to buy a bunch of vitamins and coicidentaly my Dr. called me while I was at the store. He told me to get B complex (for energy), Prim Rose Oil (for arthritis pain, fatigue,) Melitonin ( to sleep better) and a multi vitamine.
RESULTS: It is now Saturday and I woke up Fri feeling "GREAT". Not stiff, well rested, and ready to start my day. I cleaned my house (it's been a while), went to the store, picked my son up from school, made dinner, walked the dog (and played frisbee) all without taking a nap. Today I mopped my floors, did laundry, played with my son, and we are going to the park. I haven't felt this good in I don't know how long. I hope it lasts because next week I am going Camping.
I wanted to share this in hopes that maybe these vitamins will do the same for some of you. However I am not suggesting you go off meds unless you speak with your Dr.

wow that is great! Do you mind sharing what the B complex is that you are taking?

I too went off all my meds. I am taking, Sam-e, acai berry, coq10, vitamin d, calcium and fish oil and a multivitamin. I also take melatonin to sleep and I too feel great. I am so happy to be off all the meds that I was taking. I finally feel like I have my life back.

elle that is fantastic, I pray that you will continue to feel great. Keep up the good attitude and enjoy this new found life of energy and no pain and no meds. I am a firm believer in Vitamins, so glad they are helping you.

The B Complex is Nature Made Stress B-Complex. I also want to try the Sam-E, but didn't want to try too much at once. I feel like the prim rose oil is key. My friends mom took it for her MS and it helped her also.

did you go off all your meds at one time?

my only problems with supplements is there are so costly and insurance does not pay for them, it would cost be triple or more to take supplements.

Yes I went off all meds at one time.(I was supposed to ween off of gabapentin because of withdrawel symptoms, but I figured what the heck,I already feel like crap). fortunately I had NO symptoms.

The supplements I m taking were cheep. I think the most expensive was $8. Some of the Rx I was taking were $4o-$60 with my co-pay. And my co-pay for the ESI was several hundred dollars. So even if I pay $75 for all supplements I'm still ahead.

Elle, my god well done. It's so good to hear someones doing great and without their docs.I hope it keeps working for you. I might give it a shot, although I would be nervous to some off all pain meds. But cheers for the happy post, was good to read
