I have been working as a mental health counselor for a while now and in October I had a run-in with one of my kids and was injured. I have been out of work for around 3 months but since a few days post injury I have been getting this severe, intense pain the shoots up the right side of my head. Throughout the day the pain never really goes away, it feels like a dull pressure but in the event of any activity, raise of heart rate, the shot of pain goes into my head.. It shoots and then stops, shoots, stops, shoots... until I either dose myself with medication or it just calms down. It wakes me up in the middle of the night it's so painful. I'm having extreme troubles sleeping now, and I just feel tired. If anyone has any idea, please please please let me know. I have been seeing a chiropracter, an acupunturist and now a neursurgeon, but I'm not really getting answers and its so painful. Oh, and PS, I am a 26 year old female and my only family history is that my father died from breast cancer and grandpa had prostate cancer....
