Hi,
This is what my Chiropractic School is calling my issue(primary). I was on a muscle relaxor that vertually stopped the dizziness, is does anyone else have a lot of experience with actual muscle issue caused vertigo like this?
I had a whip-lash last Sept. and now i'm off the muscle relaxors and am just ending up stretching out the back and front of my neck most of the day to keep some of the vertigo at bay. I'm starting exercises and more treatement for my neck on Monday. I'm just so frustrated, the suboccipitals seem so messed up right now. I've had scarring build up in my scapular area from older injuries, but have never dealt with vertigo as a result. I'm assuming the spasms and the vertigo are from lot of scarring trying to build up. Maybe I do or don't understand this stuff. I'm just going back to the heating pad again, because it stops when I heat it up.

A MRI of your cervical area would be helpful. I too have/had vertigo from a very narrow cervical canal. It is the result of genetics and injury.
