Hi my mom has been suffering with migraines for year, however recently she has been experiencing something worse. For the past month she has had a migraine that isn’t going away, she says she’s experiencing extreme pain in her neck and spinal area. I don’t see how a migraine with those symptoms has lasted so long. any advise on the situation?

thank you.

There are many reasons for headaches and other pains. you need to do some research on your own and your mother's doctor should be able to give you some guidance. research Arnold Chiari Malformation 1. \

Has she seen her doctor about this change? You could be looking at a different source for her pain other than her typical migraine.
