Hello, everyone,
I haven't posted for ages, though I lurk every day.
Botox has been suggested by one doctor (warned against by another, yikes, confusion) for chronic neck muscle pain, tightness, the ropey muscles and resulting headaches. They also are talking about Lyrica.
I really hesitate to take either of them. I am so against meds and have to already take a lot for other reasons. Has anyone experience with Botox and Lyrica - good or bad results? I am afraid my neck will just get worse if those muscles are not used.
Thank you all,
Seaturtle

Hi Seaturtle,
I used to get botox in my neck before I had my disc surgery, it gave great relief
it would last about a month before I would need another round.
lyrica made my feet swell.
Hope this helps a little

Thank you for your response. Did the Botox make your neck weak or interfere with your ability to move your head? I've heard of some people having to wear collars after injections.
May I ask why you stopped taking the injections?
