Back in the seventies the kids were fighting in the back and I turned around from the passenger side to correct it...As I did this I felt something pull/tear around my breastbone..It was around that time I started getting heartburn from a stressful job..After many years of all the gerd meds I finally stopped.I ended up taking dgl licorice and Maalox as needed..I having other health problems and have weakening mucle mass... The burning is getting worse and it seems the spring sinus drainage seems to exacerbate it..

I am scheduled for a barium ugi tommorrow..I am wondering if anyone just had a hiatal hernia repair and if it helps? I also searched surgery options and found the threads all locked for some reason..Thanks for any comments..God Bless You...K
