I have a friend who was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. She is taking staroids, chemo medicine, and is now on pain medicine due to her coughing. She is now overweight mostly because of the two types of steriods she is taking, which i know doesn't help her to breathe. Some days she feels fine, the next day she cannot breathe. From what i am told, there really isn't a cure for this disease, but my question is.. has anyone who's been diagnosed with this disease found some sort of comfort with whether it be medicine or any sort of experimental medicine?

Sarcoidosis can be treated with immunosuppressant medication, which is what your friend is on. It can help keep the scarring from going on further and help heal up what's there already, so that perhaps she will not end up with a permanent condition called interstitial fibrosis.
