I did not know that it was a autoinmunne disease I always thought that it was just a arthritis condition were just the tendons and soft muscles flare once in a while from over stress and use of your body I never read in research that it attacks organs .

I have never heard of this either. I have lupus and fibro. My lupus does lots of damage, but the fibro doesnt actually damage, it causes pain and alot of neuro like symptoms..

Many autoimmune diseases such as RA and lupus are accompanied with Fibro. I would read some more and confirm. That is actually the opposite of what I was told by my doctor.
