Hi ladies,

My ds was 7lbs 14oz at birth. From the day he was born, until he was 6 weeks, he gained 1lb (more or less) per week, so he was then 13lbs 9oz. Now, we had him in today for his 2 month immunizations, and he's only 14lbs! So he's gained just under half a lb in 2 weeks (actually just over 2 weeks). I didn't ask the nurse about it, because she went on and on about how great his weight gain has been, and I didn't stop to think that he hadn't gained much at all, compared to how he was gaining before, since his last weigh-in.

Anybody know if it's common for weight gain to slow this early in the game? I know that it's normal for it to slow down when they start being more active (rolling, crawling, etc.) but he's only 2 months old.

Any ideas?

Whiskers
