Let the Doctor know you are afraid of needles. Do not look when they give you the numbing shot. It is a tiny needle they use to numb the area before they remove it. Do not look and let the Doctor know you are afraid.
I am sorry you are afraid. I have a daughter who is terrified of needles.
Have you had novicaine at the dentist? To me it is not as bad as that.

I also have a huge fear of needles. The most important thing is to let your Dr. know this. Have him tell you when he is going to stick you and what you will feel.
Honestly, it is not bad at all. It hurts less then the shot of novacaine they give you at the dentist. You will feel a pinch then a slight burn, and done. It only lasts literally, about 5 seconds, if that.
I had 7 moles done at once, with 7 sticks of novacaine. You will be glad to have it done!!
