Hi,
Hope everyone is feeling well on this Easter day. I was just wondering as I sit here hurting and very tired, if the wind affects them.. We live in a very windy spot 110 km or 70 mile an hour winds are very common. I know that the wind can give people migraines, but does it make anyone else achy and tire?:(
Have a great day!

Hi Jacqueline,
I live in a really windy place too, and I agree that the wind can make us feel worse. It can blow so hard here the gusts feel like being pushed or slapped. When the weather is like this I try not to go out, and if I do it's a quick beeline back and forth to the car. The dust and pollens blow around like crazy too, so it's just better to stay indoors. One more reason that this condition can be so isolating. :( Lily

Hi, it is crazy here, the wind comes in with a gust and sucks the attic trap up . And the toilet water goes up and down. I can just imagine what it is doing to our insides!:dizzy:

I wonder if it isn't instead due to barometric changes in pressure. I get migraines associated with weather. I call it "weather sickness" and because I live in a place that barely gets rain, I can put two and two together. It isn't a straight line with regards to the rain so much as pressure systems. This is my two cents. Thoughts?

They say that the barometric pressure is what makes you ache. It works on your joints also. I am truely bessed I do not get headaches. Knock on wood.

I am sick for 2 days when this happens. I am in so much pain I can barely concentrate on work. This is with a fentanyl pain patch on.

I think it does. It especially effects my neck and legs. It's even too much to have the air blowing from the AC in the car or having a fan blowing directly on me. I go to the beach not often, the ocean is pretty, but I don't like sand and the crowds. People look at you funny when you're on a sunny hot beach with a tea towel around your neck. I agree with the barometer readings too.
