Hello,
I have been taking Rogaine Foam for about 3 months twice a day and recently my scalp has been very dry almost looking like I had a sunburn. My scalp itches then become irritated. I started to use th Rogaine once a day until I can get the dryness under controll.
Does anyone know if this is part of the shedding phase or is my scalp just irritated? I also shave my head so the rogaine can asorb better, so maybe this can cause the dryness?
I am also taking Fin.

hey there, i had itching all over as well, before i went on rogain and fin, ive done a lot of research on a number of different message boards, tried many different shampoos like Nizoral which is great for hair loss and is supposed to help the inflamation, but it didnt work for me. T-gel worked for me but not for long... then i read up on some guys using Aloe Vera gel ON their scalp. so i bought the purest form i could find, and started rubbing it on my scalp, it stopped months long itching in less than a week. i started out using it twice a day, then once the itching stopped i try to put it in every couple days or so. i have pretty long hair and its hard to get to the scalp, but i recommend it to everyone i talk to. cant say enough good things about it. good luck.
