Alright.. When I got diagnosed in Aug of last year, I had low grade cells. I had a pap this January that was atypical cells.. so is that better? I just had another pap done today and will hear in a week the results.
Basically, I just want to know if it seems like things may be getting better from the cell types changing or if that means they are getting worse.
Thanks!

"Atypical" encompasses both high and low grade. The cells are atypical, but it cannot be determined exactly how atypical. Atypical doesn't really tell you if you're getting or worse. Sorry!
This is a common result from a pap smear. Pap smears can tell you something's up, but they really aren't that specific. You really need a biopsy to confirm whether the changes are high grade or low grade.
