Who told you not to take them. If your doctor told you, ask him/her why.

Peg,
I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I have NO idea why on earth the doctor would recommend this??? I wonder if the supplements interfere with the radiation you will be receiving?
Please let us know why if and when you ask your doctor. I am so very interested in finding out why?

Can I ask you something?

Did you find a lump or abnormality in your breast? or did a specific test find it? which direction did they take and in what steps?
for example, mammor 1st, then ultra-sound 2nd, 3rd-MRI, 4th step-biopsy?
How long did it take for pathology to determine the diagnosis?
If it was detected on a specific test, how long did it take before you were sent for the biopsy?
Did your surgeon want to do any repeats of anything in case they thought maybe the MRI was showing a false positive?

I'm sure you are doing extensive research on your diagnosis?
Did you do extensive research in the beginning of your diagnosis when they first told you they saw an abnormality?

I consume drinks myself and take minerals and supplements and am wondering why the dr. doesnt' want you to continue doing this?

what type of bc do you have? and how did they find it?

Sincerely,

Linda

Gwen,
I'm sorry I got your name mixed up with Peg.
I replied to your question but called you Peg rather than Gwen.
I just wanted to apologize,
Sorry...
Linda
