hi, a few yrs ago i notices a slight shaky feeling in my arm, it progressed to a very strange jerking/twitching, especially while falling asleep. i went to 2nueroligists and they both had no clue, they dismissed parkinsons as they said i was too young. my grandfather has parkinsons and i hear its sometimes genetic. im very scared as recently my pinky and index finger sometimes jerks out of nowhere, sometimes i notice i stumble out of nowhere as well. my question is, are the early symptoims (tremors) more of shaking or jerking? i wouldnt describe it as ashake, more of a few consecutive jerks. i donno hrad to say, im very worried. and doctors just tell me im too young, should i ask for a PET scan to check for dopamine levels? thank you, and best of luck to all.
