Hi I am new her how do I start. FOr the last 5 years I have had problems with carpel tunnell syndrom or tendonitis. And over the past 5 years or so I have had borderline thyroid levels but not enough to do any thing about. per one endo dr I went to another dr and he put me on levoxil to stop the growth of the goiter I have. It seems to be working I think. I have had surg on my right wrist and I still have pain in both but nerve t4sts say they are fine I do not sleep well I can not loose wt tired all the time but that is getting beter with the thyroid meds but I am still not up to par. 1 1/2 years ago or so I had a sed rate come back at 40 normal is 20 my dr thought the endo would do something at that time but it took me going to a differnt endo to get anything done. I still have pain in my hands wrists elbows feet ankles and no one has answers for me, but the last dr I went to for my hands told me short of changing jobe I would h=just have to deal with it, I work in a busy x ray dept. that is all computers I also get a rash on my thighs and I also had it once on my stomach. That one went away with cortizone cream but the other one on my thighs just wont go away. I can not stand to be out in the heat in the summer time it just wipes me out to the point I just want to sleep, and I get major headaches. ANY SUGGESTION ????

hi momistj,
If you just started on thyroid it will take awhile to get adjusted. Your doctor will have to increase it at about 6 week intervals. I am still struggling with it. Have you seen a rheumatologist? It sounds as if you might benefit from that. Hang in there. I am thinking of you.
