I have been on these two medications for 2 years and my hair has been thinning and now is falling out on top front has anyone experienced this? :confused:

Hair loss is not a known side effect of either of these medications. Have you spoken to your prescribing physician about it?

thanks for your reply...I have an appt. next week....though I just read on another site from about 20 different people who said they have experienced mild to severe hair loss with Lamictal.

I did and it is getting better. A few reasons: stress, hormone, genetic.
I was advised to take supplement - UltraStress (B complex + vit C). good luck.

Did you change or go off your medicine...how long did it take to get better?

Acutally, hair loss is a side effect of Lamictal. This I know for sure as I was on this med for a few months with MAJOR hair loss. Once I weened off, the hair loss stopped within about a month or so. Medications affect people very differently so not everyone will experience the same side effects.
