My liver enzymes are 1100. According to what I have read,
this is very extreme, is it not? I just turned 80 years young
but basically had been told by my doctor in January that I
am a person that does not need doctors very often because
everything, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. is good. Then
in March I had a blood test and found out that the liver
enzymes were extremely high and two blood tests after,
still extremely high. We went on a cruise to the Caribbean
the latter part of February and I seemed to pick up something
causing diahhrea but nothing else. I was prescribed an
antibiotic for 7 days but I had more big problems with diahhrea after. Yesterday I had ultrasound on the pancreas,
liver, gall bladder area. I have not had much energy and have lost some weight but seem to be holding my own now
and the diahhrea has gone away. I am very concerned but
of course, I do have a gastroenterologist checking it out.
I would like your input also. Thank you.
