Okay, im 19 years old, i had unprotected sex in late october of 08 it is now april of 09 since then i have had severe chest pains, abdominal swelling, nausea after eating, no urge to eat, car sickness, hot flashes, back pain, diaherra, and loss of sleep. I took two pregnancy test both of which were negative. I was recently in the hospital over night for these symptoms where they did an enternal ultra sound, a CT scan, EKG's all of which came back normal. The hospital also did a urine sample pregnancy test which also came back negative. I don't know what this could possibly be my symptoms have been on and off since december of 08, can someone help me?

do you drink alot of pop. how much water do you drink. I do not like to drink water, but i get these symptoms when I drink nothing but soft drinks. if I stop the pop for 2 days and drink nothing but water I feel much better. it also could be acid reflux, look at that site. I have had SVT heart beats to fast. excess gas in your stomach can make your heart hurt, don't waste no time getting to the doctor if your left arm hurts or goes numb. I hope I have helped you would be surprized if you drink alot of pop what drinking nothing but water for 2 days can do.

I am assuming when you said that they did an ultasound, it was a transvag ultasound. If this came back negative, than the possiblility of you being pregnant is very very low. My best guess is that you have acid reflux, try taking some pepcid ac. I would also request an abdominal ultasound to see if you have any gallstones. The other test that could be run is a test called a hydascan. This test will tell you if there is any problems with your gallbladder. A simple test to determine if you have acid reflux is a upper gi. This test requires you to drink barium while the radiologist takes pictures. The radiologist can see if the barium begins to come back up your esophagus instead of continuing down into your stomach. You can begin to treat yourself for acid reflux to see if this help relieve your symptoms. Watch what you eat, try to eat bland food to begin with, (this will also help if you are having problems with your gallbladder) and try to eat a couple of hours before you lay down to sleep. This way you have already digested most of your food. Eat several small meals, not three big meals and drink lots of water. Try to keep your caffeine intake to a minimum.

I hope this helps. Keep us posted on how you are feeling.
