I'm on that endless waiting period of trying to get a final diagnosis. My dr. thinks I may have Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue. She thinks it is most likely both. Is this normal? Can you have both?

I have been feeling horrible for 4 months now. I have had every blood test know to man... I am waiting for a referral to a Rhuemy. Then I start the process all over again. Please take a look at my list of symptoms. Does it look like Fibro, CFS, or both to you guys?

Symptoms- Beginning around the 1st of January

• Severe body aches/muscle pain
• Extreme fatigue
• Difficulty sleeping
• Sleep apnea
• Tingling in both hands
• Morning/all day stiffness
• Allergies increased
• Smells bother me
• Headaches
• Intensive lower back
• Weakness and shakiness in legs
• Yeast infection
• Can’t find the correct words
• Feels like bugs crawling on my skin
• New achy joints
• Sore jaw muscles
• Vision
• Ringing in the ears
• Sore
• Diarrhea
• Weight gain
• Positive for Epstein-Barr Virus

Thanks,
Jeanne

I have been feeling alot like you for 2 weeks now. Have alot of the same symptons that you do. I am convinced that there is something horribly wrong with me. All bloodwork has come back normal and I had a mri of the brain on Friday. I will be seeing the dr on monday and fibro is one of the first question I am going to ask and also ask about epstein barr. I feel like I am going to go crazy. I just want to feel normal again

Hi gknee
my daughter has just been discharged from hospital (4 days) after being home before that for 4 weeks. She has all the symptons you mention including positive for EBV, but currently does not have GFever. One other sympton she has was a spasmodic temperature (between 36.5 deg and 38 deg). 3 different doctors said she has no organic disease or the like, and that they think physiotheraphy is the best thing for her. We're at our wits end, but have just started the physio and will be going to hydrotherapthy pool every day. Physio (great guy) says her very stiff & sore neck muscles re causing the extreme headaches, and the lower stiff back is causing both the back and leg muscle soreness.
