I am curious if anyone has had a LSIL pap smear and then an HSIL a year later. I'm really scared about my abnormal pap smear, HSIL, and looking for someone with a personal experience.

I haven't ever had a bad pap, so I haven't gone from LSIL to HSIL. I can tell you that some women do. The next step is usually the colposcopy with a biopsy (pinch or punch biopsy of the exocervix) with a possible ECC (endocervical curettage). The colpo gives the doctor a much better idea of what is going on.
