I have an apt with neurology on Tuesday for migraines. I have been suffering from them since about college...15-20. Was given butabitol for awhile then my primary dr took me off them because I was prego. then execdrin came out with migraine otc and they worked great for awhile...then myblood pressure got high and I was put on atenelol for the blood pressure and the migraines. My migraines so few and far between, that the OTC meds worked great when I got a headache. I was taken of the atenelol cause my blood pressure was too low and the head aches came back something fierce. A few weeks back i was inthe ER. that was the very worst I have ever experienced, throwing up everywhere, screaming in pain, etc. went back to my primary, he gave me back the butabitol to get rid of that nasty headache and to prevent any more migraines of that magnitude. anyways, he said its about time I go to neurology and they can give me something to stop the migraines, he couldnt, but they can. he also put me back on atenelol cause my blood pressure was pretty high and he wasnt sure if it was because i was in such pain or it was my true blood pressure.

ok so my apt is on tuesday and I am not sure what to expect, what info should I have ready? should I bring anything?

thank you
me
