I seem many posts about high liver enzymes but I am trying to get informantion about low enzymes. My 16 yr old daughter began having irregular heavy periods, high blood pressure, fatigue, weight gain, stiff joints. The did blood work and found out that she has hypothryoidism(overactive) and low liver enzymes. We have been referred to an Endocrinogosits but we cannot get in for 6 weeks. Does anyone have any info on what it means when your liver enzymes are low? Thanks for any help anyone can give
