Hi everyone,
I've been taking 50mg of Topamax since February for migraines. It isn't doing anything to reduce them (I average 3-4 migraines/week), so I informed my GP who prescribed 50mg of Topiramate 2x/day.
Have any of you noticed a difference between brand name Topamax and generic Topiramate? Does one seem more effective than the other?
I know people respond to meds differently, but I'm curious to know your experiences with brand name vs. generic since this is the first time I've taken a generic migraine preventative.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
