Is it addicting? I'm thinking about trying it. Can't get my mind off smoking. Did it really help?

I had no problem "getting off of" Chantix. I took Chantix over a six month period, but the last three months I backed off to only one pill per day. One seemed to be just enough to settle me down and help take my mind off of smoking without too many side effects. When the pills ran out, I was on my own, and decided that it was now or never. It's been eleven months. I'll make it to twelve, thanks to the initial boost the Chantix gave me.
