Hi,
I work with at a facility where we put horses in a swimming pool daily. Every day we swim about 20 horses and I get very wet while doing it! My hands are extremely dry, cracked, and gross. What can I put on them or take to make them less dry? I prefer a more natural approach than regular hand creams, plus I believe in fixing the problem from within. I also find the rest of my skin and hair very dry since I moved here as it's a much drier climate than where I am from.
Thanks,
CP

My skin, hair, and nails easily dry out. My hair stylist suggested I take flax seed oil for my dry hair. I noticed the change in my skin and nails first, and eventually my hair, it's great! I wash my hands many times a day with harsh soap. The flax seed oil helps all areas, but my hands need extra help. I like L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream. It lasts through at least 3 hand washings. I believe in healing from within also, but its the water and the dry air that is stripping the skin of moisture externally, so external moisturizers may be needed.
