I went to the dermatologist Monday for follow up on my eczema.

I left with a biopsy done to a spot on my lower back. She said she was concerned it was skin cancer.

How long does it normally take to get these results?

I'm kinda scared.

One week is long enough to wait. Make sure to ask for a copy of your Pathology report. You can pick it up or have them fax or mail it to you. Keep it for your records........

Let us know what you find out.....Oleander

Turns out the biopsy was negative, MUCH to my doc's surprise!

However, she said she wants to "keep an eye on" me.

What exactly does that mean?

The Doctor will check your skin frenqently...... I go every 3 months for a skin check because I have had cancer.....you will probably be seen more than once a year if they think you need it.... She just wants to watch you which is good....Oleander
