I've never had this before, but when I woke up this morning I felt a really dull stiffness in my back. As the day went on the pain got worse and worse and now I can feel it right under my right rib cage on my front side. I have had mild nausea in the past, and my appetite is a bit different, but there was nothing serious going on before this began. My appetite is there and I typically eat around 2000 calories daily. I feel a bit of a burning sensation in my esophagus now too. I do have reflux, but it was never this bad. I guess I'm worried about liver metastasis since I have been having some abdominal issues for the past few months (note - I haven't been diagnosed with anything, and my X-ray revealed no bowel obstruction). By the way, I'm an 18 year old male with no history of any certain type of cancer on either my mother or father's side. Still, what could be causing this pressure-like pain? I went to the health office and they said my liver wasn't enlarged. They also percussed it and it sounded good.
