I'm a college student myself in my final year of study towards a Bachelor's degree in social work.

Some of the activities I've found helpful in reducing stress include listening to music, taking a long walk, watching my favorite TV documentaries, writing in my mood journal, talking to friends and setting small goals so that I don't become overwhelmed.

When I study for exams, I concentrate on one subject for an hour and then take an hour break. After my break, I go back to studying and continue the pattern of studying for an hour, taking an hour long break, studying for an hour, etc. for 4 hours total.

I also find that keeping a study schedule helps. I study at the same time every day for the same length of time.

I also work on easy subjects first and then tackle the more difficult ones.

You may want to meet with your professor/instructor sometime this week to review any material you don't understand. I make it a practice to meet with my professors once or twice a week well in advance of finals to make sure I'm understanding the material and to receive clarification on anything I don't understand. I also show them my notes so they can give me suggestions as to how they can be improved or what kind of information needs to be added.

Good luck on your exams!
