Im sorry if this sounds disgusting, but everytime i need to poo it really hurts! I havent always had this, its only been about... 6months? It hurts everytime now, and theres usually blood afterwards. Im only 16 (almost 17) and am too embarrassed to ask anyone about it, especially not my parents or doctor! If anyone has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated!

Did you go to the doctor. It is best to get checked out. Most likely you have a hemmorhoid. They just have to be treated carefully and keep your stools soft. Good luck!

Bella,
You are experiencing "constipation".
This is a very common problem for people of all ages. Trust me, your parents will certainly understand. At some time in almost everybody's life, it's hard to poop. I hope the other posters will agree with me, and encourage you to share this with your mother or dad. There are things you can do at home that are very helpful for softening the stools. They are very normal, and common remedy's available at your drugstore.
Some common causes of constipation are changes in diet, low fiber diets, some medications, and can be resolved in a short time. I am sure your parents will help you, and you will feel better right away! You don't need to suffer sweetheart, it happens to all of us, I promise!

hmmm... constipation doesn't always lead to bleeding. i agree with the first poster in that we can't officially diagnose you, as we are not doctors, but you should NOT be bleeding. i understand the embarassment since i'm only 22 and my problems developed in my teens. talk to your mom about setting up an appointment with the doctor. tell him/her exactly what you have described here. this is a daily part of life and this should not hurt.
point is, you can't cure anything until you know what you are dealing with.

Good point taser194...
I agree that the bleeding makes it all the more important to tell your parents. Best wishes.

The same thing is happening to me. Its not a lot of blood just one spot at the anus. What causes a hemmeroid?

numerous things: straining whilst having a bowel movement, constipation, pregnancy (because of said constipation, extra weight added, and the inevitable pushing during delivery), sitting too much, weight gain, hypertension, etc.
