i have had high blood pressure for a year or so but last few days i have had a very bad headache right behind my right eye sometimes left but mostly right like a pressure pain. also have felt very tired and dizzy alot of the time i checked my bp at the chemist it was 170 over 125 i went a and e but by then felt a little better and it was down to 155 over 101 my norm with the meds. thing is every time i feel like this at least twice a day my bp is high around 165-170 over 118-128 but by time i get doctors its back down again so its hard to get them to see my like this. should i be worried about readings this high and these symptoms?. i am 24yrs male 6ft and 225 pounds. and on 5mg amplodipne a day.

Blood Pressure is not only a health problem, onto itself, it is a gauge of unhealthy body conditions. Those "unhealthy" body conditions, which result in higher blood pressure, can result in many nasty symptoms. Correct the unhealthy body conditions, and the nasty symptoms can be improved, IHMO.

That is still too high. A blood pressure average of 155/101, or higher, is very unhealthy.

You are overweight. How is your blood glucose? Ever been tested for Diabetes? A bad diet, one that contains more calories than the body can handle, can cause all kinds of health problems.
Another possibility, related to Diabetes, which is also caused by a bad diet is Insulin Resistance, or Metabolic Syndrome, which can result in a very high blood pressure and many other health problems.
