Hi, I wanted to know if anyone ever had a high white count with Lupus?

What is that doctor doing for you? Ask the doctor - you need to understand and it's your doctor's job to help you understand and to answer your questions. Good luck! Waiting to see a rhuemotologist right now. Very frustrating. Sorry that I don't have more information for you. nilegal 06-04-2006, 01:19 AM Hi, I am new to this message board but I just had a blood test done since I had very high fever of 104.3. My white count was very high and I was put on steroids, plaquinyl and another immunosupressive drug. I had grandular casts in the urine test and a few blood cast cells. I hope you get a rheumie appt. set up soon & that he (or she) calls for *all* obvious tests right off the bat---meaning not just ANA, which is only a "threshhold" test.
