Hi again! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Your mom's hands and feet burning could be from Raynauds Phenomenon, which is a problem with circulation that goes with Lupus. They are probably acting up because she is having a flare up. As for the throat burning, that I am not sure of. Does she have tummy troubles? Or GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux disease). I have GERD and often get burning in my throat. I suppose Sjogrens Syndrome could cause some burning too.. Sjogrens is a disorder that also can go with Lupus that causes dry eyes, mouth, nose etc. Lupus has many different problems that can go with it! Is your mom feeling better? I hope so! Send my regards- from one "Lupie" to another!

Hi I'm new here as only recently tested positive for ANA. However I have hypothyroid and see many others on the thyroid board have burning sensation in feet though noone has yet had a dr that could explain why. I have same sensation at times. Has your mom been tested for hypothyroid? Certain thyroid conditions are also autoimmune related.
