Hi ~ I was just wondering if already taking aspirin or taking aspirin before tests would alter blood test results for Antiphospholipid Syndrome?

Hi Pook!

An asprin will not affect the blood work for APS. I would recommend stopping it about a day before the test just to make sure. Warfarin and other blood thinners DO affect it though http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif Take care!!
