I am on Crestor 40 mg with cholesterol of 3.5 UK (136 US) originally 13.5 (526).
If I stop taking it how long will it be before it reaches high levels again?

Your total cholesterol was 526 (US)?? Wow. Mine was at 290 and I was worried enough.
I've been on Crestor 10 mg a day for 2 wks and my total cholesterol went from 290 to 140. So I know it can at least drop it by 50% in 2 wks. I was pretty shocked actually. I was all set to be happy with TC at 240 and it came out 140.
