Does anyone have any ideas about asthmatic bronchitis and how to reduce the flares? Everytime I get a cold it goes down onto my chest..I eat right...don't smoke and am sick of having this happen! I tried allergy shots which helped but after 4 years the MD stopped them! Any suggestions?

You should have a written plan from your pulmonologist that tells you what to do when you get ill. In my case, I add a puff of Flovent to my daily regimen until I am well and then I go back the one puff I am usually on.

Hi,
I was often prescribed steriod tablets to help, and that seemed to really help me get back on track. Hot steamy showers to relieve the coughing. Drinking tea helps (really). I find my asthma getting worse since I have got older.
