Ticker, I have edited your symptom list to show my symptoms. I started having some of them in Late December, and others since. Does anyone have any comment? I was tested yesterday for Lyme, but from what I'm reading, the tests are not always reliable. Also, I've read some horror stories on the archives of this board, from people who have had this disease for 10 or 15 years. Isn't it curable?? Can anyone provide more information for me??

SYMPTOMS:

Unexplained fevers, sweats, chills, or flushing
Fatigue, tiredness, poor stamina
Sore throat
Testicular pain/pelvic pain
Sexual dysfunction or loss of libido
Change in bowel function-constipation, diarrhea
Chest pain or rib soreness
Heart palpitations, pulse skips, heart block
Joint pain or swelling
Stiffness of the joints, neck, or back
Muscle pain or cramps
Headache
Neck creeks and cracks, neck stiffness, neck pain
Tingling, numbness, burning or stabbing sensations, shooting pains
Ears/Hearing: buzzing, ringing, ear pain, sound sensitivity
Lightheadedness, wooziness
Confusion, difficulty in thinking
Difficulty with concentration, reading
Mood swings, irritability, depression
Disturbed sleep-too much, too little, early awakening

THANKS for any help anyone can give me.

Hi Michelle. When Lyme is a possibility, it is very important to see a knowledgeable doctor because no Lyme test is completely reliable. A lot of times, people who post on the forums only post when they are sick, not when they are better. Look for Lyme support groups in your area and see if they can recommend a knowledgable doctor in your area.
