JUst wanting some input from others here, as since last year I was diagnosed with TMJ Dysfunction with Myofacial Pain.

However, I also am having constant head pain and neck pain issues that are worse whenever I stand up and sit down, where as when I lie down, they settle down somewhat, but worsen when I stand up again. I also have a loss of neck curve.

UNtil recently I came across by chance of something called SPinal Headaches and Cerebrospinal fluid leak.

To people that have TMJ, do by chance have you also had CSF issues as well?

I am now considering to get myself investigated for possible CSF leakage, at least to either rule out or confirm if I do have it.

If I wanted to get it check out, what specialist is best to deal with CSF Leakage?

Liek to hear back from others.

Thanks

What a great question, I'd never heard of CSF leakage before, but when I looked up the symptoms there were MANY that were identical, headaches, tinnitus, vertigo, neck pain. TMJ has same symptons, now you have me curious b/c it said CSF leakage can be caused by brain surgery & truama. I had brain surgery ten years ago, I wonder if that could still have an impact. Thanks for bringing this up
