Hi all! I have been taking meds for mood issues since the beginning of the year, coinciding with my quit date of January 6th. One of the meds I take for sleep has to be discontiinued because of an increased prolactin level. The other I take is a mood stabilizer and that is going to be decreased by one tablet also. They both have taken the edge off with the nicotine withdrawal and now 4 1/2 months later I have to go through another adjustment. I am petrified! I am so afraid that I will relapse back into smoking and like I'm a babe in the woods. I have relapsed so often that I thought I found a good mix of meds, but it's not to be. I have to muster up all the courage that I have to fight this off. I still have a problem with this psychological retraining and trying not to feel that there is a void. I just wanted to share tonight. I have read other posts that deal with the psychological recovery of nicotine addiction and hope perhaps these issues will improve, a day at a time. God bless all and take care--Hopeto--
