I've been having sharp pains in my left ribs. Sometimes it feels like there is something behind my ribs or under them. They hurt when I press on them. I also get pains down into my left hip area. My chiropractor said it's from straining or lifting something wrong. A sprain of my ribs and it will take awhile to heal. Sometimes it hurts when I take a deep breath or sneeze and sometimes it will hurt on the right side too but not as bad as the left side.
What I was wondering is if I should see a Dr. Five years ago I was diognosed with Diverticulosis. I don't have any bloody stools or fever or anything like that. Sometimes I get cramps or get a little constipated but I drink Alo Vera juice and that helps with the constipation. What I want to know is does the pain sound like it's related to the Diverticulosis or the ribs?
Thanks for any help.

When I saw the title of your thread, even before I opened it and read it, my first thought was diverticulosis.

If it will go away eventually, I'm relieved. As a matter of fact, I just moved my furniture up one flight of stairs. Thanks for the insight.
