That is a question that no one on here can answer... No matter what you do, there is still that 1% chance, even refraining from sex during OB's staying on the Valtrex daily, you can still pass it.. Slight/slim but still that tiny chance.. I know this is a hard decision. I wish I could offer something more to put your mind at ease. the truth is this virus is so Unpredictable, but there are a lot of couples where one person has it and other person never gets it and they have children.. You can not pass this to your unborn child through conception. It is perfectly safe to have a child when you have Herpes. No worries there. I wish you the best with your choice. Take care
