my hair turned orange/blonde after highlighting it!!! My hair is naturally a light brown/blonde. When highlighting it with an ovc kit, it turned orange/blonde....more orange than blonde. How can I get it back to natural?

Hi Sluns,
Did you get out the orange? If not try a bluing shampoo until you can color it back to your old. Go to a salon and have a professional so you don't have a bad result. Very hard to cover all the hair, and next time leave the bleach on longer or take a test piece and check it so you can know if it's fully processed. Sometimes it takes a little while. Good luck

I had the same issue, girl. I had to go get mine fixed professionally. Also, since the OTC kit ruined your hair and didn't work as promised, call the 1-800 number on the back and tell them that it didn't work, that it made your hair worse and you now have to get it fixed, where you bought it and give them the code on the bottom of the box. They will send you the money back within a week or so. They did for me, and I used it to put toward getting my hair FIXED back to the way it was.
OTC kits rarely ever work the way they show on the box unless you are going darker. Don't waste your time or damage your hair by using them!
Good luck!!!

Thanks everyone for your input. I ended up going to a professional. It still has some of an orange tinge, but not that bad. I can live with it. Again, thanks!
