I am experiancing body twitches. I will be fine then all of a sudden my body just jerks out of the blue. Last night I was almost asleep and I jerked so hard it woke me up. Can anyone tell me if they have had this problem?

Yes, I get them. Sometimes it can be a noise or just a jerk without any stimulus. It is annoying!!

Being fairly new to all of this and not having been D
X yet alot of things are very scary. Most of all is the facial numbing.

I hear you. Facial numbness follows me too. Often time I do not realize the extent of my numbness/paralysis until I look in the mirror.

I hope you are able to get your diagnosis. It does bring a sense of relief to know what you have to battle.

I too experience the 'twitch'. Seems to happen most often when I am in a very relaxed state. Usually just before falling asleep or lying down watching TV.

This morning seems to be particularly bad too since I was not able to get much sleep last night, I seem to twitching more than usual and my legs are killing me.

Try stretching your muscles really well. If that does not work, put on some music and do the "jerk";)

Other than stretching, you might try some cold compresses.

Thanks for the humor sometimes you do need to sit back and laugh. My GM says I have a very good sense of humor about the whole thing. I do feel like sitting down and crying sometimes but it could be worse. And when you can't laugh at yourself you are in big trouble. And yes I did get up and stretch. Thanks

I have my crying moments. MS can drain you emotionally. Nowadays when I am headed south, I find that a good day alone with just some quiet time helps. Believe me, as a guy, admitting to crying is a big step!!

Keep the stretching. You should (or may) cycle out of the twitches which will bring some respite.
