Shingles usually will present itself in a cluster of red bumps that itch, they can appear in different areas of the body or on the entire body, just the same as when a child gets chicken pox, Shingles take anywhere from 7-10 days to go away. You can treat Shingles the same as chicken pox, some doctors may put you on the same medicine that you would be treated with for Herpes if it serve. Herpes usually will only appear in the spot where the initial contact was and the common symptoms but not always depending on the person are: you will have a bump or cut, or blister that will/ will not always turn to a sore , with serve itching or burning, fever low grade, swollen glands, extreme fatigue, headache that does not go away with meds... Everyone is not the same so symptoms can vary from person to person, so if you are unsure my best advice would be to go to the doctor and get checked.. :)
