When walking last october, I fell. I tripped over nothing, all was fine. Broke my glasses though. Yesterday i fell again, no reason for it. Broke them again, got banged up and cut.
Today I fell again!
The man who called the ambulance last night said his mother falls all the time and she has ms. Could i have this? its scary.

Welcome to this board. I started "tripping" when I was 14 years old. It was not until 5 years had passed before I found that my tripping was MS and the culprit was foot drop.
Is your situation MS? It may or may not be, but getting tested to determine the cause of your falls is necessary. Get an appointment with a MS Specialist (a neurologist who specializes in MS and related cases).

For what it is worth, I see in my line of work, people who are hospitalized due to falls every day....of all the ones I have come across, only one has had MS.
Falling is the most common complaint of people- causing the most injuries. Dont jump to conclusions which will scare you- go get yourself checked out. The number one reason for falling is ear infections, followed by vision problems. If those things arent the problem, youll want to explore neurological issues and balance problems. The tests are simple and in your case, sound like a good idea!
Be careful until you know whats going on!

Hello Nona, I do this all the time and am under investigation for MS. As the others have said though, it might not neccessarily be that, it could be for a number of reasons and also if you have other symptoms. Your first port of call would be your GP who will then send you for further tests should you need them.
Take care, Marina

I might add that my mother had a fall which led to a diagnosis of Parkinson's. Each case can be different, but take your experience as a warning flag to get checked. With any luck, it is just an inner ear infection.

Nona33,
I am sorry you have had so many falls.
If you haven't had a physical recently then it's probably time to see your doctor. There can be different causes for falling.
Do people with MS fall? Sadly, yes.
However, there is much more to MS than just falling.
