I have outbreaks on my vagina and butt, with the butt outbreaks being the worse. What do you do to protect your partner from these areas which are obviously not covered by using condoms (besides Valtrex because it resulted in tremendous hair loss)?

I have outbreaks on my vagina and butt, with the butt outbreaks being the worse. What do you do to protect your partner from these areas which are obviously not covered by using condoms (besides Valtrex because it resulted in tremendous hair loss)?

I have OB occasionally on my butt.. more in the crack.. than on the outer surface. When my partner and I have sex, one of us wears underwear, yep sounds odd, but in 5 yrs no transmission to him. I won't compromise he safety even when he want's to do it the "regular" way.

When I have an outbreak I take Valtrex and Olive Leaf Extract. For example, I take Valtrex at 6am, take Olive Leaf at 12noon, Valtrex at 6pm and OLE before bed, around 11pm. I know your posts indicated Valtrex created a hair loss issue, so try the Olive Leaf and whenever possible, keep all areas dry when you have an outbreak. Hope this helps!
