I had to quit spiro 6 months ago because I quit birth control and I was dreading the return of my Acne/Rosacea. I was having massive breakouts and couldn't get a derm appointment for like 8 months:rolleyes: So i decided to look around a CVS and try something there while I waited, not expecting much from what ever I tried. I found this Acne Free Redness Relief kit, it said it was supposed to work for rosacea and it was 50% off. I had tried the regular Acne Free before and it didn't help, it just made my rosacea very angry like most other Benzoyl Peroxide based "Acne Systems" do. This one is awesome it cleared me up completely in 3 months and I didn't have to go to the derm. I just went back to CVS where it's still on clearance for 50% off and bought a ton of kits. It's called Acne Free Redness Relief, NOT the regular Acne Free. The products are:
Step One- Extra Mild Soothing Wash, it's got 10% sulfur and you can smell it but it fades in a few minuets, it does not sting or make your face feel tight like Benzoyl Peroxide washes do and I think it's what is making the difference for me vs. using the regular Acne Free
Step 2- Calming Toner, it's got licorice extract and it's more of a moisturizing gel than a toner, it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized
Step 3- Perfecting Lotion, it's 3% Benzoyl Peroxide lotion
I use this morning and evening and it's been working great, I searched it and didn't find much on the boards about it so I thought I'd share.
