I am 22 years old and have a beautiful daughter. I've been on Ortho tri cyclen since I was 16 and love it, but have always wanted something more long term. Ortho (I believe) has helped with my acne and having regular periods. I tried depo and gained about 50 pounds in a year. I went back to Ortho and have lost 20 so far. I have been thinking about an IUD but cannot decide between Mirena or paragard because I have heard horror stories about both. I am also concerned about my acne and cycle, but don't know if my mild to moderate problems with them before was my age or just me in general. Has anyone else switched from Ortho to an IUD? Also, any positive stories about IUD's would be greatly appreciated!
