My son has cold Urticaria,or thats what we think he has,as he has not gone to see a doctor,(he has a fear of doctors)
If he swims or showers in cold water,he breaks out in hives which are quite disfiguring, After the hives have gone he suffers from nerve like pain in his legs,the last attacke he had even restricted his breathing
It also can happen in cold and expecially windy weather.
I have seven children all grown now .asthma and bronquitis is in the family but no other major illnesses except
My daughter has coeliac disease and i had graves disease, my niece has scermadoma and my two nephews have ataxia,this all happened within the last 5 years except mine which came on after the birth of twins just 10 months after giving birth to my son(that has this problem now)24 years ago.
I also have rayneuds and b12 defficiency(debate\able).My nephew and niece were all in their thirtys and early forties and seemed healthy and 'bang 'all these illnesses manifested.I have beaten the graves disease after being treated with neomercazole but the doctors cannot tell me why i got it and why it went,they said the neomercazole was just to stabalise it not cure it,(Go figure)
