Hi all,
I have a small white spotty rash on the center of my lip, and on the very tip of my penis around the opening, they just look like tiny white dots, they have nothing inside them and do not itch or hurt at all, I'm just curious as to what you all may think it is, I dont really wanna go to the hassle of seeing a doctor if its just somethign minor i can get some cream for.. I've had it for as long as i can remember, but recently it seems to have spread on my lips a bit..

I also have a white spotty rash (slightly larger spots) on the outside of my foreskin and on my scrotum, this does not itch or irritate or have anything in it either, i have had this for as long as i can remember. I am 19 and only practice safe sex.. Thanks for any input

I'm not an expert on STD's but I'm wondering if the "rash" on your lips and tip of the penis could be some form of herpes? Are you sexually active and using some sort of protection, although, herpes can be transmitted through kissing, oral sex and such. You might just think about that as a possibility. As for the "other" rash. That sounds very much like a couple of different things. Those "bumps" on your foreskin sound like they could be Pearly Penile Papules, nothing serious, not an STD, many of us have them and there isn't anything you can do about them....just part of the package. On your scrotum you may be dealing with basic pubic hair follicles. Often these "bumps" appear to be pimples but really are just part of the pubic hair "stuff." Again, no problem and nothing you can do about them, they are just "there." Glad you're asking questions, take care of the equipment, it's the only set you'll ever have.

That was originally my thought also that it may be herpes. It is very easily passed on, especially when a guy or girl gives a guy oral sex and they already have a cold sore on their lip. And it can also be passed when someone has herpes on their penis and they touch it and rub it on their mouth! But it may be benign and nothing to worry about. But I would see your doctor about it first ! They are best to handle the situation because they can see it and perhaps suggest a diagnosis!

I'd just go to your GP. He or She would refer you if you need to see a specialist but I'm almost certain you'll get all the help you need from the GP. The outside bumps just sound like normal glands like the other two young blokes on these boards recently.

Agree with GeoffB, Go to the GP, allow him/her to refer you to the specialist if needed, and I hope it's not. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
